Inspection

The inspection department is the external service of the NISSE. This department can be found in every branch office and not only carries out inspections in the field, but also provides the information or assistance you need.

A visit from the inspector
It is possible that an inspector of the NISSE pays you a visit. This does not necessarily mean "bad news". The inspectors spend 85% of their time on informing and assisting people with problems. Thanks to their elaborate knowledge of the social status, they try to find solutions that are acceptable to all parties.

A visit to the inspector
When you, as a self-employed person, have a problem with your social security, it is recommended to contact your social security fund or us as soon as possible. Do not let the problem drag on: a problem usually does not solve itself.

Consultations
You can also see a social inspector during consultation hours. In general, consultations are organised at the town hall. During consultation, the consultant will personally receive you and you can explain your problem. Moreover, this service is free of charge.
