With free supplementary pension for self-employed persons, reference is made to the pension
institution that is the authority with which you can conclude a (free) supplementary pension agreement.
This may be an insurer, a pension fund, a pension savings fund, a bank, and the like, these being institutions
that provide the required quality guarantees. A social insurance fund, while itself not being a pension institution, can, in practice, be allied to one. The statutory pensions make reference to the RVP (Rijksdienst voor Pensioenen = National Pension Office) and the NISSE (National Institute for the Social Security of the Self-Employed), which are meant to be pension institutions. They manage the statutory pensions. |
