"Grossing" is a special technique applied on the professional income, which is the basis for the actual contribution calculation. 
"Grossing" implies an increase of the professional income with the product of the professional income and the contribution percentage applicable for that tax year.

As of 2003, this technique will no longer be applicable to the calculation of contributions.
