The exercise of the office is permitted
- until the completion of the mandate
- without advance statement
- irrespective the income resulting from it
Conditions
- your mandate must have commenced prior to the inception date of your pension
- at the latest the last day of the month in which you turn 65
Categories
- political mandate, office of chairman or member of a social welfare office
You must declare every mandate that commences or is renewed after the last day of the month
in which you turn 65. The income resulting therefrom must not exceed the permissible
limits.
- mandate with a public institution, an institution of public welfare or an association of municipalities
You may exercise your mandate only until the last day of the month in which you turn 67, even
if the mandate itself has not yet been completed at that time.
Performing mandates of category 1 and 2 simultaneously
You are entitled to perform a category 2 mandate for as long as the category 1 mandate is running,
even after your 67th birthday.
However, if the category 1 mandate expires earlier, you may perform the category 2 mandate only up to
your 67th birthday.
Attention! If you are performing a political mandate
that does not satisfy the above-mentioned conditions, you will be required to make an advance
declaration and respect the permissible
limitations.
