Permanent refusal
Allowances can be refused when you:
- have reached normal retirement age
- are the victim of an accident that is the result of a serious mistake on your part
- personally continue your professional activity
Temporary refusal
Allowances can be refused for a certain time because of:
- negligence
- fraud
- document forgery
Limitation
Your allowance may be limited when you:
- receive other allowances
- refuse to participate in a programme for retraining and rehabilitation
- commence a retraining programme or rehabilitation course that lasts for 6 months
- resume your former professional activities on a part-time basis with approval from your physician
and these activities are carried on for 6 months
- are imprisoned and do not have persons dependent on you
