Refusal or limitation of your allowance
Permanent refusal
Allowances can be refused when you:
  • have reached normal retirement age
  • are the victim of an accident that is the result of a serious mistake on your part
  • personally continue your professional activity


Temporary refusal
Allowances can be refused for a certain time because of:

  • negligence
  • fraud
  • document forgery


Limitation
Your allowance may be limited when you:

  • receive other allowances
  • refuse to participate in a programme for retraining and rehabilitation
  • commence a retraining programme or rehabilitation course that lasts for 6 months
  • resume your former professional activities on a part-time basis with approval from your physician and these activities are carried on for 6 months
  • are imprisoned and do not have persons dependent on you
